      I don’t think scientists are sure exactly when dinosaurs first existed, but probably around 200-250 million years ago! They mostly went extinct about 66 million years ago. So there were dinosaurs that were further away from each other in time than we are from the last dinosaurs!

      According to scientists, dinosaurs first appeared over 200 million years ago (the Triassic period) and lived on Earth for about 170 million years. They went extinct at the end of the Cretaceous Period.
