Question: What’s the worst sound you have heard?

This is a very interesting question and I admit that I can’t think of a good answer! I’m lucky that I’ve never heard a sound in real life related to human tragedy, like if someone is in a lot of physical or emotional pain.There are more ‘innocent’ sounds that I really don’t like though, like the sound of the ultrasonic cleaner in our laboratory, which is a machine that uses high frequency vibrations with the purpose of cleaning something floating in a liquid. When someone is using this instrument I usually run out of the room!
